Styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) is a type of black rubber with a coloured rubber coating. The black rubber product has multiple uses including underlay for synthetic turf and playground areas that need thick, soft-fall surfaces to protect against critical height falls.

Rubber is a strong, durable and incredibly versatile product. It’s a much safer and hygienic alternative in comparison to bark chip or sand, it’s also maintenance-free. The range of colours make it an ideal aesthetic product for small residential to large commercial areas.

The granulated rubber is made from scrap tyres so it’s incredibly environmentally friendly as it eliminates unnecessary waste and land fill.

SBR is more cost-effective than EPDM, which is completely coloured rubber, not just a coloured surface coating.
