Our WA installation team recently completed a project at Covalent Lithium, laying Australian made Silverback Lawn™ HD V8 to create a shaded lunch spot for workers on site. The small turf area surrounds a bench, giving staff a clean, low-maintenance place to take breaks away from the operational areas of the plant.
Covalent Lithium is a joint venture between Wesfarmers and Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile (SQM). The business is developing the Mt Holland lithium project in Western Australia, which includes one of the world’s largest hard-rock lithium deposits and a state-of-the-art refinery in Kwinana. Covalent’s goal is to supply high-quality lithium hydroxide to meet the growing demand for electric vehicle and renewable energy storage batteries.
